In my more than 15 years as a professional writer, I have worked as a newspaper reporter, a book editor for Wiley Publishing, associate editor of The Saturday Evening Post, prose editor for Booth: A Literary Journal, a grant writer for The Kurt Vonnegut Memorial Library, lead editor for Jack and Jill magazine, a contributor to Punchnel's magazine, and a blogger (but not, alas, a logger).
As a medical writer I have produced numerous regulatory documents (CSRs, protocols, IBs, NDAs, INDs, etc.) for clients in the pharmaceutical industry including Eli Lilly and Company, Targanta Therapeutics, and Tetraphase Pharmaceuticals.
I hold a B.A. in English writing from DePauw University and an M.F.A. in creative writing from Butler University.
I also like to pose with waterfalls in Iceland to show how rugged I am.
