Corey Michael Dalton has been a writer since before he was born, and his mother has the scars to prove it. He has had work published in numerous magazines and literary journals including The Saturday Evening PostPunchnel'sJack and JillSo It GoesHumpty Dumpty, and Axolotl. He has edited everything from Betty Crocker Cookbooks to Booth, A Literary Journal to CliffsNotes Study Guides. He recently edited and contributed a short story to Mythic Indy, a collection of all-new legends and fairy tales about his hometown of Indianapolis.

Corey has also worked as a newspaper reporter, a medical writer, a comic book reviewer, a standardized test grader, and a blogger—but not, alas, a logger. He has a B.A. in English writing from DePauw University and an M.F.A. in creative writing from Butler University, the combination of which allows him to buy Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers from Wendy's Everyday Value Menu for the low, low price of just $0.99 each.
